At 13 years old this school boy has come up with a clever idea, he is in the process of patenting it and is raising funds to get it made, if it works, well, you just never know. Irrespective of whether this specific idea works or not, it is clear that this young lad is certainly ‘one to watch out for’!
It is said that in order to be talented at anything, you have to start young, this boy is starting is certainly starting young and I look forward to seeing what else he gets up too. Great inspiration though!
A huge thank you to everyone for their awesome support for the interview that I did for Mixergy, some great feedback and some awesome contacts made, so a huge thank you:
The interview that took place with the awesome Mixergy team on thier ‘Fail’ series has now gone live. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed this interview. I am learning to speak without fear of who may be watching and what they may be thinking so this interview was a big step for me. You can check out my interview with Mixery here.
Everywhere I look, read and interact recently people are talking about failure, in the context of the start-up / business world and it’s seriously refreshing. I will never forget going into a meeting with 50 young entrepreneurs and, according to them, not one of them was having a problem with their business! Astonishing and completely untrue. Thank f*uck times are changing!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with sharing failure, or percieved failure, and as we talk about such mistakes we are essentially sharing our experiences which others will learn from and hopefully excel in because of.
Not only is the excellent Mixergy doing an interview series on entreprenuers who have failed. But there is an awesome article in the financial times about failure too, which is worth a read.
If you have any thoughts on failure, if you have experiences or points for people (including myself) to learn from then please do share them!
